OMG...MY LAPTOP IS RUNNING AROUND LAS VEGAS IN A BROWN UPS TRUCK. I still have not gotten confirmation on its delievery, but the latest update on the tracking data is that it is "out for delivery".

I have created a beta testable version of the main page, and a Flash intro clip that is reaching beta ready status.


The hard part, and the part that eventually caused me to quit work last summer, was the content page template that would be used to display all the articles and stuff that I write. I learned a bit about javascript from that mess, but not enough to get my design to work.

As soon as I get my laptop (give it a week), development should be accelerated a bit now that I will get more time to work, and a standardized web development environment (so far, this was developed almost entirely on school computers, which use various versions of Dreamweaver and Fireworks making development a pain sometimes).


When it is done, I feel that it will be my magnum opus for at least a few years. This has been a dream since I first laid eyes on a certain Fur's website (I will credit elsewhere).

More than anything, actual progress towards something I stand a good chance of being proud of (not that many things in my life like that now) is keeping me from becoming anymore self destructive than I already am.
